Projects (Some finished/some not so much)

I have been a busy knitter lately. Here's an updated on some of my finished and unfinished projects:

1. Baby Cardigan and Booties: The cardigan took a few weeks (usually just knitting at night time - after work) and the booties were about an hour each. These were for my friend's baby shower. I am very happy with how they came out!

Another day, another sock....

Over the past few days, I have finished a gazillion knitting projects - ummmm...well like three - but really, who's counting? Here is one of the projects:

These are are a pair of socks that I made for a friend's Birthday. (I really hope she's not reading this blog this week - if so, act surprised. Got it?)

I have made these socks before as a gift to myself and I wear them on a pretty regular basis.

For these socks, I used 2 balls of Red Heart & Sole's "Razzle Dazzle." The yarn is mixed with Aloe, which is nice for my dryness prone hands.

A new book for me to read!

This morning as I was drinking my coffee and reading news online, one headline caught my eye...

"Sweet Valley High" Returns 10 Years Later

OMG! Really?

I blogged a long time ago about my love for '80s books - such as Sweet Valley High and the Babysitter's Club.

From what I have gathered, the book revisits the twins 10 years after the last book. There are promises of betrayal and love.

I think that once I am done with my current book, "Water for Elephants," I may have download this one to my iPad!

Recent invitation project

Today my son is sick (he has a temp and a nasty cough.) So I chose to keep him home from school. That leaves me to to either:

A. Watch Sponge Bob Square Pant and Star Wars Clone Wars - over and over and over.

or

B. Blog

Since I have already done A, here I am. Check out what came in the mail a week ago. (Yeah I know - I should posted this earlier!)

My order from Vistaprint!

I love, love, L-O-V-E Vistaprint. As a designer, they make it so easy for me to upload my original artwork and then they handle the printing. The quality is amazing! The prices are even better!

These are invitations that I created for my son's 1st Communion in May. I blurred out some info - sorry guys, I can't invite EVERYONE! (But I will take pictures.)
